We´ve been hearing for a while that using a video game engine for real-time animation was going to be a game-changer in our industry. Both in terms of the overall workflow and for rendering processes. We thought that we might be able to benefit from a dramatic optimization as we would introduce these engines in our regular pipeline.

We were about to start production of our new tv-show, Hero Dad, which was designed in a way that allow us some room for researching and implementing new technology. Our team is naturally tech curious and R&D is at the core of our mission as a company and we like to be ahead of our industry whenever possible. This presented itself as a great opportunity, and we decided to take it!

We run into some bumps along the way, we’ll tell you about it, but the whole experience has been thrilling and successful in such a way, that we are planning to introduce Unity in our pipeline more consistently and permanently.
