This presentation by Javier León will cover the evolution of his personal work on jewellery design and hyper-realistic rendering, up to the creation of the credits for The Crown, ending with the generation of virtual jewellery for NFT auctions.

Founder of Leonstudio and currently Art Director of Netflix Animation, Javier's extensive professional career dates back to his beginnings 20 years ago at the University of Cádiz.

Later, he joined Pyro Studios to work on Commandos 2 and moved to England to join the team that created Tomb Raider and Lara Croft in a new business project and a new video game: Galleon.

After a period in the videogame sector in projects such as Team 17 and its Worms and Alien Breed sagas, he comes into contact with Sega and Aarmand Animations and starts working with them as a freelance.

He returned to Spain to join the team at Furia Digital, Molinare and El Ranchito.

In 2017 he was nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on the visual development of the credits for The Crown (Netflix).
