A pioneer in the creative use of computer graphics since 1985, Xes Vilà transformed his passion into a distinguished career in the audiovisual industry. He founded his first company in 1992, Mondrac Serveis Audiovisuals, exploring and mastering diverse digital creative areas.

His background includes key roles in Santo Domingo and Barcelona, where, at the Seat Technical Center, he led the development of an innovative pipeline for visualizing complex simulation data, merging engineering and digital art.

Identifying a gap in training, he founded FX Animation, a pioneering school specializing in VFX with a learning method based on the real needs of the industry, achieving high employability of its students and even presenting its success at SIGGRAPH in 2013. Simultaneously, he co-founded 3 Monos VFX, consolidating its presence in film and advertising.

Driven by the vision of real-time workflows, he founded Punk Visual Studio in 2018 to develop an innovative Virtual Production System.

His pioneering work culminated in a strategic alliance with Mediapro, where he is Virtual Production Supervisor. Here, he adapted and scaled his system for shoots with Simulcam and LED screens, achieving a milestone: leading and supervising the pre-production, shooting and post-production of the first film shot entirely with Virtual Production, establishing a new paradigm of efficiency in film production.

Today, Xes Vilà is recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit, his focus on technological innovation and his ability to lead teams at the forefront of audiovisual creation. His new challenge is AI applied to the audiovisual world.
