I learn the hard way. Most of the time. That is, very often. I've been working for 25 years. Of those 25, 20 are in the animation industry. I've done small projects, fast, cheap, free, boring, ugly, ugly as fuck, beautiful, small gems, funny, irrelevant, forgotten, expensive, quite expensive, expensive as fuck, awarded, acclaimed, suffered and many absolutely enjoyed. In all of them, I've had to sell them, negotiate them, organize them, recruit them, manage them, produce them, deliver them and collect them. And in all of them I have been wrong. In all of them, I've been beaten like crazy. So many that I can now recognize, identify and anticipate them. So now my job is still to sell, manage, produce, deliver... But I also raise an eyebrow from time to time to see the bullshit coming and warn whoever will listen.
