Francisco Ramos Howell has extensive experience in the audiovisual industry, combining technical expertise and creative sensibility in the design of advanced image and color management workflows. He began his career at SGO as a Mistika artist and product specialist, participating in international trade shows and collaborating with high-profile clients such as Sky UK, NHK and Technicolor Spain.

He then joined Sky in the UK, where he worked as a colorist and online editor. He was actively involved in the start-up of the Sky 3D channel, providing creative and technical support on stereoscopic productions. Later, he contributed to the transition to 4K UHD and HDR productions, leading research on new standards and their implementation in real workflows.

After a stint as a freelance consultant specializing in ACES and HDR workflows for productions in Spain and the UK (including collaborations with Mission Digital and several post-production studios).  Francisco joined Netflix in 2021 as Production Workflow Technologist, providing strategic and technical support to original productions in Italy, Spain and Portugal. Since 2025, he has held the position of Manager of Scripted Technology, overseeing the technological development of fiction productions in the EMEA region.

His career has focused on storytelling and the advancement of digital production, making a key contribution to the evolution of technical quality standards in the region, as well as to the goal of improving virtual production methods and practices.
