The advent of Artificial Intelligence is changing the way we create, organize, and live. For 3D artists this era presents challenges, opportunities and for many of them, distrust and fear. This talk, by David Fernández Barruz, will explore this change, whether or not we should do it and what it implies. AI is transforming the workflows and strategies to thrive in this new AI era.

AI is presented to us as a powerful tool, capable of optimizing processes, shortening development times, automating repetitive tasks and helping us in our creative processes, but should we also let AI create for us? We will analyze the impact of AI in the different specializations of 3D for the next five years and talk about the importance of integrating AI in the work of digital artists, instead of ignoring its existence and rejecting it in a generalized way.

Because the future is not something that happens to us, it is something we create, but let's do it being aware of the present and the future of this profession, preparing ourselves to continue doing what we love: Creating and telling stories.
