Óscar Olarte is Co-founder and CEO of MR Factory and Director of R&D at MR Factory (Madrid) and the Whisper World Group, specializing in hybrid virtual production (AI + chroma key), with operational studios in Madrid, Jakarta (with EMTEK Group), and Johannesburg (with eMedia Holdings). 

A pioneer in virtual production since the early 1990s, he has served as coordinator and editor of the technical section of the Spain Film Commission’s Virtual Production Soft Book (Global Production Award 2025) and is a co-author of the corresponding chapter in the VES Handbook of Virtual Production. His current lines of work focus on training AI models applied to audiovisual production, AI agents for heterogeneous pipelines, and end-to-end control of hybrid productions.
