Head of CG & VFX

Lebrov Motion Imagery

Andrey Lebrov is a self-taught CG artist and VFX educator known to an audience of more than 230.000 subscribers on YouTube, where he has built a reputation for making complex rendering and pipeline topics genuinely understandable.

His path began in Latvia, exploring digital tools from an early age with no formal training. That origin still shapes how he teaches, breaking hard technical problems down into something any motivated artist can follow.

He is also Head of CG & VFX Production at Lebrov Motion Imagery in the UK, where he works at the intersection of cinematic craft and pipeline engineering on large-scale environments for immersive installations and 360° experiences. Over the past two years he has developed, in collaboration with OTOY, a production pipeline that uses Octane Standalone as a dedicated scene assembler paired with distributed rendering on Render Network, replacing the previous Clarisse iFX pipeline. More recently he has turned that pipeline toward Gaussian splats, publishing the full research openly on his channel as he pushes splats from a novelty into real, pipeline-compliant production assets.
