Manu Viqueira is a creative director, animator, and post-production artist based in A Coruña. He specializes in mixed-media animation, VFX, and motion graphics projects.

He is particularly noted in the field of music videos, having worked with Warner Music L.A. on projects for international artists such as Robert Plant, Green Day, and Gary Clark Jr., as well as Spanish acts like Love of Lesbian, La Pegatina, Macaco, and Soziedad Alkohólika. He has created animations for numerous documentaries, including No somos nada, directed by Javier Corcuera, about the punk band La Polla Records and selected for the 2021 San Sebastián Film Festival; Colección Mer, by Pedro González; and La batalla desconocida, by Paula Cons. In the advertising and corporate sectors, he has collaborated with brands and organizations such as Estrella Galicia, Leche Pascual, R, DepGames, and the Xunta de Galicia, as well as with festivals such as O Marisquiño, Hematofesti, Kaboom Festival, and the Imaxinaria Festival. 

Since 2020, he has been an associate professor in the Bachelor’s Degree in Animation and Video Games at the University of A Coruña, teaching courses in screenwriting and directing.

His work combines animation, live-action, collage, graphic design, and visual effects, with a perspective particularly linked to music videos, music culture, and the hybrid languages of contemporary animation.
