Pavel Smetana is a media artist, curator and educator who works at the intersection of digital art, neuroscience and performance. He has created large-scale interactive installations and multimedia stage works that link scientific research, contemporary dance and real-time AV technologies. 

He has taught VR, interactive media, and media theory at the Academy of Fine Arts in Aix-en-Provence, France, and at Prague College in the Czech Republic. He has also directed the ENTERmultimediale festival and the international MutaMorphosis conferences in Prague.
