In this presentation, we will review the visual effects work created by Lamppost for the Netflix film Cortafuego. We will discuss how the integration of fire, smoke, and environmental expansion into real-world settings was approached, combining practical effects and VFX to achieve a believable result with a powerful narrative impact. We will showcase the creative and technical process, from planning and filming through to final post-production, with a special focus on the design of invisible effects and their integration with live-action in a highly demanding, visually realistic project.
