Designer and VFX supervisor for leading production companies and post-production studios in animation, advertising, and television. Founder and CEO of El Replicante Jondo in 2001, he has over 30 years of experience and has received numerous awards, including two Goya Awards for Best Special Effects and eight nominations.

He began his professional career in digital design in the late 1980s at Walter Bernard & Milton Glaser in New York, and at the newspaper La Vanguardia in Barcelona, where he helped establish the digital design department.

In the early 1990s, he served as Director of the Graphics Department at Antena 3 in Madrid and was founder and CEO of the company Marvin. Associated with G.H.V., during the 1990s Ferran led advertising and branding campaigns for television and focused his career on post-production direction and VFX supervision for film. Since 2001, he has worked with some of the most prominent companies in the sector, such as MadPix Co., Telson, and Molinare, where he was Head of the Digital Cinema Department for seven years. In 2020, he structured and trained the team at Dare Planet Studios, which led to the creation and direction, in 2024 in Madrid, of a new visual effects studio, EFECTOSCOPIO, with recent branches in Pamplona (EFECTOSCOPIO RED) and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (EFECTOSCOPIO BLUE).

With more than 100 feature films and TV series, he has established close working relationships and collaborations with renowned Spanish directors and producers, including Javier Fesser, Álex de la Iglesia, Fernando León de Aranoa, Daniel Monzón, Pablo Berger, and Salvador Calvo, among others.
