Guillermo Quintana Ramos is an economist and technician at the Gran Canaria Economic Promotion Society (SPEGC), an entity attached to the Gran Canaria Island Council. Specialising in economic development and public support planning for strategic sectors, he focuses his activity (under the umbrella of the Best in Gran Canaria initiative) on attracting foreign investment and managing soft landing processes. His work facilitates the operational and fiscal integration of animation studios and technology companies into the island's business fabric.

The SPEGC articulates a systemic public support model designed to boost the island's digital ecosystem. This work acts as a catalyst for the sector through specialised training programmes, financing instruments, the provision of technological infrastructure and the organisation of industry events; a comprehensive strategy that has enabled Gran Canaria to consolidate a creative hub that currently exceeds 500 active professionals.
