Mundos Digitales actively collaborated in the creation of the 2020 Nico against childhood cancer solidarity calendar, coordinating a large number of companies and collectives from the animation and videogames sector such as Antaruxa, MIA, In Efecto, Able&Baker, Entropy Studio, Illusorium Studio, Gato Studio, Tangram Solutions and Peragallo.

The calendar was inspired by the promising lines of research against cancer that are being carried out on the national scene. With it we try to bring these projects closer to the population, with the aim of disseminating the unquestionable importance they have for our evolution and the wide range of existing possibilities that fill us with hope. These complex processes are characterised through artistic photography (Cris Andina, Sue Rainbow and Enriquophoto conciencia) and amazing make-up (IlusionArte and @makeupbyroii) on well-known faces (Moncho Borrajo, Susana Seivane and David Pereira among others) that represent tumour cells and small superheroes that become therapeutic targets (antivitronectin, virotherapy, nanotechnology, immunotherapy, nuclear medicine, epigenetics, etc.) on fantasy backgrounds, (Mundos Digitales) and as a finishing touch a spectacular month of December with Carlota Corredera and Nico representing a symbolic bone marrow/umbilical cord donation process to encourage society to give the gift of life this Christmas.
