Once again we are faced with the difficult decision of having to cancel the International Conference on Animation, VFX and New Media, Mundos Digitales 2021, scheduled for July 8 to 10, 2021. Unfortunately, the current restrictions derived from the sanitary situation make it impossible to carry out the event in the conditions we believe the sector as well as all the attendees, speakers, collaborators and sponsors deserve.
The essence of Mundos Digitales is based on the professional and social interrelation that in these moment is, as we all know, very limited and it continues to be a priority to maintain this limitation for the safety of all of us. As in 2020, our priority is not only to guarantee the safety of all attendees, speakers and others involved in Mundos DIgitales, but we also want to ensure that their objectives and expectations are satisfied. With the current scenario, would certainly be impossible to fulfill that objective.
From Mundos Digitales we continue supporting the industry, and although we are extremely sorry to have to cancel the Conference for the second consecutive year, we begin to work on the 2022 edition and on initiatives that involve promoting, supporting and contributing to the future development of the digital content industry.
We do not want to miss the opportunity to very much thank to all those who support Mundos Digitales keeping their tickets for the 2021 edition. This support is essential in this industry, however we also believe that you do not deserve a Conference "with the foot off the pedal", that unfortunately, it is what could be held today. For this reason, in the next few days we will proceed to refund the amounts paid for tickets.
