In this talk, Paul Giacoppo, Digital Character Supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic,  will explain the work in digital de-aging of Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, including a history of digital human work in ILM's other work, including The Irishman, Rogue One, and other techniques, and a general overview of other recent effects films.

Paul has been an entertainment industry professional for over thirty years. He is a Digital Character Supervisor at Disney/Lucasfilm's Industrial Light and Magic (ILM), having worked on Visual Effects for film franchises such as Star Wars, the Mandalorian, The Irishman, The Avengers, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Pacific Rim, and many others. He previously worked at Disney Feature Animation.

Paul is also a screenwriter for television animation, having written over 50 episodes for Cartoon Network, DC, Marvel, ITV, and Nickelodeon. He's a voting member of the Academy of Motion Pictures, the Visual Effects Society, and emeritus of the Writer's Guild of America.
