Join Ignacio Lacosta, Co-Founder and Senior VFX Supervisor at XReality Studios, to learn directly from a pioneer in visual effects about how the integration of virtual production technologies can transform not only the cost and efficiency of production, but also expand the creative and narrative reach of our film projects.

With a career spanning over two decades in visual effects, Ignacio has overseen projects that have redefined film and television.

In this special session, we will discover how virtual production is revolutionizing the industry, allowing filmmakers to overcome physical and economic barriers to create worlds that capture the imagination of global audiences. From advanced CGI techniques to the implementation of digital doubles and sets created using new techniques that utilize the radiance fields of the scene itself.

In this presentation, Ignacio Lacosta will provide practical examples and case studies that illustrate the tangible impacts of these technologies on contemporary production, to see how new industry standards are being set and how these innovations can be implemented in almost any project.

Ignacio is Senior VFX Supervisor at XReality Studios, a visual effects, postproduction and digital content company for film, series and advertising, an international benchmark in VFX and virtual reality.

With a professional experience of more than 25 years, he has a background of more than 60 film and fiction projects, and he has been awarded with the Goya Award for Best Visual Effects for Eva.
