Pedro Solís, co-director of the feature film Buffalo Kids, explains in this presentation the artistic and emotional process involved in the making of this film, whose personal burden has marked a before and after in his professional career.

From Core Animation studio, Buffalo Kids is his next animated feature film, based on the universe of characters from Cuerdas.

Pedro Solís comes from the world of video games, where he has developed tasks from scenario modeler to co-producer, for computers and consoles. Pedro Solís' entire film career is linked to the world of animation. He participated in the animated short films Tadeo Jones and Tadeo Jones and the Cursed Basement as a scenery modeler. He has worked as production manager on the feature films The Adventures of Tadeo Jones, Capture the Flag and Tadeo Jones 2, The Secret of King Midas.

With La Bruxa, his first short film as director and screenwriter, he received among other awards the 2011 Goya award for best animated short film. With Cuerdas, his second short film, he received the Goya award for best animated short film in 2014, among many other awards, achieving the Guinness of records as the most awarded short film in history.

In his facet as a writer, we can highlight the writing of two stories based on his short films, a story published in the book Relatos con causa and the short story La sonrisa de Lucas.

In 2018 he co-founded the animation studio Core Animation, in which he developed the feature film Momias, which has been placed in the top 10 of the highest grossing Spanish films worldwide in history.
