Alonso Varela led the team of the studio's main visual effects supplier for the third season of the series The Boys (Prime Video). Under his direction, the team successfully faced challenges such as the creation of extreme blood scenes and the depiction of a superhero with nuclear powers.

In this lecture, he shares his experiences and the process behind the creation of these visual effects, highlighting the challenges overcome, the creative solutions implemented and the key technical aspects involved in the production process.

Throughout his career, Alonso has been honored with numerous accolades, including the prestigious Academy Award for Best Visual Effects or Emmy & VES nominations.

Some of his latest projects include Ex Machina, The Jungle Book, Avatar and Napoleon, among others.
