In this talk from Dimension Studio’s Steve Jelley, the audience will learn about the impact that AI is having on film and media production workflows, and how studios need to adopt responsible use of AI with an artist-first approach. 

Detailing Dimension’s own AI content production pipeline as an example, Steve will explain how artists can take advantage of the latest AI tools to be more effective in their creative roles. He’ll detail the ethical considerations that the studio has taken in the roll out of AI and how that’s presented in Dimension’s AI policy. 

To demonstrate the pipeline created by Dimension, Steve will present Mara & Milo: Magic & Mayhem, a fully-animated short film created by two of Dimension’s technical artists. He’ll present to the audience how AI tools were used at every stage of the film’s production, from character and environment design, through to animation, shot direction and audio production.
