DIGITALENT is an initiative focused on virtual production, real-time filmmaking, and AI-assisted audiovisual workflows. It responds to the profound transformation currently reshaping the audiovisual sector, where LED volumes, video game engines, motion capture, camera tracking, and real-time rendering are becoming standard features of conventional film production.

This session will address the broader impact of virtual production on the future of European cinema: from sustainability and new production processes to hybrid forms of storytelling that connect film, animation, video game technologies, and immersive media.

The presentation introduces DIGITALENT’s international training model, which combines intensive hands-on bootcamps, online learning, and production-based experimentation, developed in collaboration with film studios, artists, and technology specialists with extensive experience. Participants work directly with advanced virtual production environments while developing practical skills in cinematography, digital environments, virtual cameras, real-time compositing, collaborative production workflows, and immersive storytelling.

DIGITALENT aims not only to teach new tools but also to create a European ecosystem where filmmakers, visual artists, animators, and creative professionals can experiment, collaborate, and adapt to the rapidly evolving landscape of contemporary audiovisual production.
