Level creation is one of the central processes in video game development, where art, design, architecture, and interactive narrative converge. In this lecture, we will explore how the spaces we inhabit when playing are designed, and how art, architecture, and design work together to guide the player, convey information, and build memorable experiences.

Through clear examples, key concepts of level design will be presented, such as visual composition, use of color, landmarks, and environmental narrative. The session will show how spatial decisions directly influence gameplay and the perception of the virtual world.

Using different case studies from triple-A titles in the video game industry, the conference presents level design as a creative language that connects aesthetics, gameplay, and player experience.
