James Hood, CG Supervisor at Rodeo FX on Wednesday Season 2, will take the audience behind the scenes of how the team brought Enid’s long-awaited transformation to life through a blend of artistry, character-driven design, and innovative technology. Starting from the foundation of a classic werewolf, the team infused Enid’s creature form with colorful echoes of her human personality, while adapting her look to diverse environments and story beats, including a surreal body-swap sequence that merged Wednesday’s gothic traits into the same creature. 

Hood will delve into the creative and technical challenges of designing and animating a transformation where anatomy, emotion, and physics had to coexist seamlessly. This talk will explore how collaboration between departments, from rigging to CFX, pushed the limits of creature performance.
