In this talk, Raúl will explain how at Hampa Studio they produced the 2D feature film The Treasure of Barracuda with an entirely remote team, coordinating the entire production using management and tracking tools, proprietary tools, and a lot of know-how.

He will explain how, through a proof of concept, they finalized the look of the film as much as possible in terms of composition and used that knowledge as a form of reverse engineering to develop all the necessary tools. Also he will explore the challenges, solutions, and lessons learned from bringing a feature film pipeline to a virtual and distributed environment and what that entailed on a technical and organizational level.
