There are questions that we all ask ourselves in our lives and that usually generate more uncertainty than conclusions.

CORE ANIMATION studio was born in 2018 and we are already working on the making of our second feature film. This talk aims to show a summary of our trajectory, answering these three questions.

Pedro Solís comes from the world of video games, where he has worked as a scenario modeller and co-producer for computers and consoles. Pedro Solís' entire film career is linked to the world of animation. He participated in the animated short films "Tadeo Jones" and "Tadeo Jones and the basement of doom" as a scenery modeller. He has worked as production director on the feature films "The Adventures of Tadeo Jones", "Catch the Flag" and "Tadeo Jones 2, The Secret of King Midas".

With "La Bruxa", his first short film as director and screenwriter, he received, among other awards, the 2011 Goya award for best animated short film. With "Cuerdas", his second short film, he received the Goya award for best animated short film in 2014, among many other awards, achieving the Guinness Book of Records as the most awarded short film in history.

As a writer, we can highlight the writing of two stories based on his short films, a story published in the book "Relatos con causa" and the short story "La sonrisa de Lucas".

In 2018 he co-founded the animation studio CORE ANIMATION, for which they have developed MOMIAS and he is currently co-directing the feature film "Little Big Boy".
