COFFEE WITH...

What does "Coffee with..." mean? It is a private meeting with some of the speakers or celebrities participating at Mundos Digitales. At "Coffee with..." you will have the opportunity to get to know professionals of the industry more closely having a coffee with them. You can make questions, ask your doubts or even comment your ideas for a project in a much more informal and close way.

Mundos Digitales will organize several "Coffee with..." and 10 people will participate in each of them. All concerned must register to participate. Please bear in mind that you must have bought your Mundos Digitales ticket before been registered. You can only participate in a single "Coffee with...".

Take the opportunity to meet with some of the most outstanding professionals in the sector.

RULES

1. REQUIREMENTS

• Own a ticket to Mundos Digitales.
• Do not have been accepted to be part of another "Coffee with..."

2. SUBMISSION

To participate you must fill in the registration form of the "Coffee with..." that want to be in.

3. ATTENDANCE CONFIRMATION

Once your application is complete, the Organization of Mundos Digitales will check if you qualify and will send you an email to confirm your participation in the event. Please bear in mind that your registration at the "Coffee with..." will be completed just when you receive a confirmation email. Without this confirmation, you will not be accepted at the event.

4. RULES

Registrations will be confirmed by rigorous order of application among those who meet the requirements. Registration at the "Coffee with..." will close once the maximum number of entries has been reached.

Those who have made their application to participate, but have no place, may request participation in other "Coffee with...".

Those who have received the confirmation email for a "Coffee with..." cannot request participation in other "Coffee with...

5. VENUE

A few days before Mundos Digitales, those whose participation in "Coffee with..." is confirmed will receive an email confirming the time and venue of the meeting. "Coffee with..." will take place at some trendy coffee in A Coruña.

Rajesh spent 23 years at Walt Disney Animation Studios in various management and individual contributor roles including incubating and managing the Hyperion renderer team, and driving development for tools like XGen, Paint3D, hair (tonic, beast), cloth, snow (Matterhorn)and water (Splash) simulation.

Afterwards, he was the VP of Engineering at Spire Animation Studios where he led the engineering efforts to enable artists to create high quality feature animation content using new workflows and game engine technology.

Recently, Rajesh joined ETH Zurich as a PhD student where he conducts research at the intersection of rendering and machine learning at Disney Research.

Rajesh is actively involved in SIGGRAPH as a reviewer, juror and educator. He has also taught the popular online courses on Ray Tracing and Machine Learning for the past two years with over 15 hours of video instruction.

He is credited on over 15 animated feature films from Disney Animation Studios including the academy award winning films: Big Hero 6, Frozen and Zootopia and Encanto!

He is a graduate of 1985-1989 Computer Science from BIT, Mesra, has an MS in Computer Science from Indiana University and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.

He began his professional career as an animator in television and internet series in companies such as Quirós Animation, Kotoc or Keytoon, where he learnt the importance of quality, to keep production rhythms and to take all the necessary resources and then apply them to new horizons.

Later he had his first contact with cinema with Justin and the Knights of Valour, produced at Kandor Graphics. After that experience and a short stint at the production company Frank Barton, he settled more permanently in Madrid and began his career at Ilion Animation Studios with projects such as Mortadelo y Filemón contra Jimmy el Cachondo and Wonder Park.

Currently, he is the Animation Director at Skydance Animation Madrid, where several feature films are being developed for the next few years and where he is taking advantage of every little corner to continue animating.

Visual Effects & Virtual Production Supervisor specialized in feature films, with a digital compositing background, extensive photography and lighting fundamentals and a strong interest for filmmaking, 3D, maths, programming and colour workflows, who loves learning every minute on the high-end of a passion built for many years.

In the field of Visual Effects, he has extensive experience in productions such as The Mummy, The Jungle Book, Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge or Los Renglones Torcidos de Dios among others.

With more than 10 years' experience working in digital production for television and feature films, Greg's goal is to make the VFX process increasingly interactive so that more time can be spent on creating great images. As an accomplished VFX Supervisor, Greg is currently working on several Flying Bark credits including Marvel “What If..?”, Maya the Bee: The Golden Orb and Lego Monkie Kid.

Previously, Greg was CG & Asset Supervisor at Iloura and Head of Modelling at Fuel VFX where he worked on features including Mad Max: Fury Road, The Great Gatsby, I, Frankenstein, Prometheus, Captain America and The Avengers. Greg prides himself on his hard work ethic supported by strong cinematic fundamentals and technical skills.

He was born with a pencil in his hand and a cap on his head. His passion for storytelling found an outlet in comics and film, until he discovered the process of animation.
In the early 2000s, with his storyboarding and design skills, he became a creative force at Shed Studios. He is currently developing his first feature film project.

He started his professional career more than 25 years ago as a 3D Artist. At that ime digital effects started to bump in Spain. Soon, he decides to switch to 2D world and to digital composition founding his own company in 2003 where he begins his contact with the visual effects for films and series. After this period, he woks during 10 years as a freelance in the most important companies in Spain, improving his abilities in digital composition, 3D spaces and workflows.

Since 2015, he is part of El Ranchito team, working on productions like Game of Thrones, Lost in space, Carnival Row, SEE… Because of these projects he has been nominated in four ocassions to the VES Awards, winning in 2016 for his participation in the episode Hardhome of the fifth season of Game of Thrones.
