Amparo Alonso

Amparo is a professor and coordinator of the LIDIA research group (Artificial Intelligence R&D Laboratory) in the Department of Computer Science at the University of A Coruña. During her professional career she has developed numerous research projects and set up the LIDIA group, which promotes lines of work that apply AI and machine learning to disciplines such as medicine and fire control.

She recently formed part of the workgroup that elaborated the Spanish R&D&i Strategy promoted in 2019 by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

The Galician researcher is one of the leading scientists in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Spain, being president for 8 years of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence (AEPIA).

JJ Delgado

JJ has helped to drive the growth of many organizations over multiple international marketplaces; including Amazon, Burger King, Pepsi, Hertz, CB Richard Ellis, Ford, Bosch, Siemens, Liberty, Vodafone, Telefonica, and currently Estrella Galicia.

He is honoured to have led the day with the most international sales in Amazon history and reached #1 Amazon LinkedIn Profile in the UK in 2016 and early 2017. Investor and advisor of Web2 & Web3 Companies (Ufounders, Talent Class, Enzo Ventures, Bipgo, Football ClubX) and recognized as one of the Top 15 unofficial LinkedIn influencers in 2018 and also selected Top 50 Worldwide Human Behaviour Experts to follow in 2017 and Most Talented Spanish Marketer 2015, International Beat Seller Author 2021.

Rajesh Sharma

Rajesh spent 23 years at Walt Disney Animation Studios in various management and individual contributor roles including incubating and managing the Hyperion renderer team, and driving development for tools like XGen, Paint3D, hair (tonic, beast), cloth, snow (Matterhorn) and water (Splash) simulation.

Afterwards, he was the VP of Engineering at Spire Animation Studios where he led the engineering efforts to enable artists to create high quality feature animation content using new workflows and game engine technology.

Recently, Rajesh joined ETH Zurich as a PhD student where he conducts research at the intersection of rendering and machine learning at Disney Research.

Rajesh is actively involved in SIGGRAPH as a reviewer, juror and educator. He has also taught the popular online courses on Ray Tracing and Machine Learning for the past two years with over 15 hours of video instruction.

He is credited on over 15 animated feature films from Disney Animation Studios including the academy award winning films: Big Hero 6, Frozen and Zootopia and Encanto!

He is a graduate of 1985-1989 Computer Science from BIT, Mesra, has an MS in Computer Science from Indiana University and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.

Francisco Menéndez

Fran graduated in Law from the Carlos III University of Madrid and holds a Master's Degree in Film Industry Management.
As a lawyer, he practices and develops his activity in the law firm Welaw Legal Consulting, S.L., dedicated to advising production companies, investment funds, as well as banking entities specialised in audiovisuals.

His areas of expertise include intellectual property, advice on structuring aspects of audiovisual projects, international co-productions, production services, public aid, exploitation windows, as well as financial aspects of the same. He has advised dozens of audiovisual projects.

Andrew Cochrane

Andrew is an interactive and immersive content creator specializing in mediums such as virtual and augmented reality, installations, live events, and mobile and web apps. His immersive credits span the gamut of live-action, CGI, and real time experiences, and he has led projects for clients such as Intel, Adobe, USA Today, Google, GE, Disney, USA Network, Visa, Las Vegas, and many others.

Andrew built the post production team and workflows for MSG's brand new Sphere Studios in Los Angeles, which is responsible for producing content for experiences in the Sphere venues, the first of which is under construction in Las Vegas.

Alba Meijide

Alba Meijide, holds a degree in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Manchester, where she later completed her studies with a Master of Engineering in AI.

She develops her professional activity as a consultant and designer of projects based on Artificial Intelligence, for both national and international companies in a wide variety of sectors such as medicine and health sciences, visual effects, animation, tourism and the legal field, among others. 

These projects were combined in recent months with the position of Exhibition Manager of the exhibition AI: More than Human in A Coruña, an unprecedented exhibition of the creative and scientific developments of Artificial Intelligence.
